DESCRIPTION:A Panel Discussion with Judge Jenny Walker Jasper\, Judge Thomas Lehmann\, and Judge Sean Gibbs \nWednesday\, April 13\, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. via Zoom \nOn March 27\, 2020\, Minnesotans were ordered to stay home to slow the spread of Covid19. What followed was a time of change and adjustment for many professions\, including the legal field. Court handled via Zoom\, attorneys appearing separate from their clients\, and witnesses testifying via video became the new normal. These sudden changes brought challenges and questions. On November 17\, 2020\, ACBA hosted a CLE entitled “Going to Anoka County District Court During the Pandemic” where a panel of judges presented information about those changes. Then\, on June 2\, 2021\, a panel of practitioners shared advice and tips for working in the new system. \nTwo years after that first stay at home order\, the practice and profession of law continues to evolve with the times. New challenges have arisen and new tools and insights have emerged.
