DESCRIPTION:Please join Nicole Frank and Joseph Ambroson with the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility on January 12\, 2022\, from noon to 1:00 p.m. for a Zoom presentation. \nSummary: In times of COVID\, lawyers are assisting clients who are facing mental health issues with increasing prominence. The challenges tied to assisting clients with mental health issues range from determinations on the goals of their representation\, to grounded decision-making\, and most notably\, maintaining the important communication between lawyer and client. The presentation will also focus not only on which of the Rules of Professional Conduct are implicated by serving clients with mental health issues\, but also where there are gaps in the rules on this topic.
