Ever wondered what legal issues the County Attorney’s Office handles? From child protection to child support, appellate cases to criminal prosecution, vulnerable adult protection to ditch law, and everything in between, with roughly 45 attorneys and 61 additional staff, the Anoka County Attorney’s Office touches many areas of the law. The ACAO is comprised of 6 divisions, some you may know of and what they do, some you might not: Criminal, Family, Juvenile, Civil (including the Protective Services Unit), Investigations, and Victim-Witness. Come learn what all the Anoka County Attorney’s Office does for the community and learn where the work the ACAO does intersects with our local bar members. Staff from each division will be present to describe the different things they do and answer any questions you have about the office’s work.
